We stayed last weekend for my friends Hen weekend as a group of 15 in a range of ages. From the second we booked till the time we left the service was incredible! The service was so personable and nothing was too much trouble. They put on a 3 course dinner for us and we were served in style. We were alowed to decorate the room and they took care of all the cleaning up. The rooms were beautiful and clean and the hotel itself is stunning. The parking available is a massive plus in Bath as well! W.

Also if you required anythimg it was done straight away, with no problem. The rooms were lovey, breakfast is a must!!!With lots of home made products(the best we have tried)Location was excellent, the staff when asked about walks they would print off directs and advise good walks to go on. Over all a lovely hotel, with the . This house was a castle as far I am concern! The walking trails in the beautiful countrysidewere a plus. At the end of a near by path, was a cozy place to have a very tasty dinner. The breakfast buffet was fresh and our timing was perfect for warm pastries right out of the oven. The grounds were plentiful of beautiful flowers and blakberrie bushes. The staff were friendly and helpful and wanted to make our stay memorible and they did. A very comfortable hotel with a great breakfast! Waterhouses was a good choice for us as we had spent the afternoon in Bath and wanted a country hotel which was good value for money. There was no restaurant service as the hotel is being developed but the staff recommended a very good pub nearby, booked it for us - and even popped in to check that we were happy with it!. Staff were very hospitable and friendly. We could bring back food and the staff would supply us with the necessary plates and cutlery. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday and replenished with tea, coffee and bottles of mineral water, which was a nice touch. Great location, just a few miles from Bath, but with the advantage of the quiet countryside. Loved the setting, the building and our lovely room. The beds were comfortable and the room furnished to a high standard. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was well presented and was delicious. Ed, thank you, and keep up the good work. Look forward to a return visit when you get your licence and we can have dinner. The Waterhouse is a little way out of Bath, but the surrounding countryside is spectacular! Katie and Ed were brilliant hosts, extremely polite and helpful. Katie knew the area very well and helped us decide where to go and what to see to ensure we made the most of our time in Bath and Southwest England. Would definitely recommend!. It was tricky to find and not very well sign posted; the directions on Google maps (recommended by the advert) made no mention of the traffic lights at the bridge. this would have been a good landmark to head for. I would always book a larger room as so worth the extra as although the smaller rooms are good I prefer to have a bath as opposed to just a shower. Nothing!. More tables and chairs in the garden would be good to ensure everyone can have a seat. Would have also liked an a la carte evening meal option. There was no bar although a license had been applied for. Evening meals were not available but again this was not a problem as there is a Gastro Pub 4 mins drive or 10mins walk across the fields. Nothing. None. The noise of the fridge kept us awake unless we turned it off. Couldn't sort the shower out so we had alternate cold and hot showers. Slightly untidy in places Dusty and tired looking in places Service at meals rather slow I was very hungry in the evening. The green light that is on in the room all night. I know it was to show the fire exit - but it was way too bright and disturbed sleep. room not cleaned (no staff available) after our first night, table not laid for breakfast (forgotten) - minor points, but in a hotel of this calibre and at this price, would have expected it. Nothing, we enjoyed everything about our break at Waterhouse. Having to leave.... Nothing. No restaurant facilities at the moment, but a very short walk to the local gastro pub was fun. Morning staff at breakfast were a little slow and took their time shower leaked all over the floor in the room. No bar for an evening drink, but we believe this is going to happen. Dining room staff need some training in laying tables. No facilities such as a pub or cafe. Nothing. The beds were a little on the small size. Size of the beds, rooms are spacious and can well acommodate a king size bed, for a more comfortable nights sleep. No breakfast included should have been for the price, even if just continental. noisy bathroom fan from neighbouring room.
