The rooms are large, comfortable and well decorated. there is a very substantial continental breakfast in the room plus a complimentary cooked breakfast if required at the sister inn, The Blue Boar. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Room is well stocked with toiletries, an iron and board, hairdrier, plentiful tea and coffee and even a cafetiere and wine glasses. despite being above a pub it is quiet and the pub is nice too.

A very pleasurable stay, decor and room were of the highest standard and the receptionist was very friendly and efficient. Well located, i would recommend this hotel to anyone. - The hotel was lovely, very relaxed with a lovely ambience, the staff were very polite and the room was ideal, just what we expected.
