Location of the Hotel. Close to town but out from the city. Nice way to relax before the flight home.
The Six Bells pub around the corner is a great place to socialize and have a bite to eat.
Nice getting a drive to and from the Gatwick Airport. Would stay here again. Good cooked breakfast in the am; plenty to chose from.

The single room was small but comfortable.
Plumbing was good.
Breakfasts good too.
Short walk to the 6 Bells Pub but a bit scary walking home through the graveyard after 2 pints, a bottle of wine and an Irish Coffee.

We wished we were staying longer. This was our last day and should have been our first! It ended our vacation on a wonderful note. Our host picked us up and dropped us off at the airport and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable! Breakfast was perfect and the room was beautiful! Thank you again!

I love this hotel and the owners and staff they make you feel like you are part of the family. I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and will be back there soon. I prefer to stay here then in London. With a great pub near by with great food. I left my teddy bear there and the kept him for me (yes I said Teddy bear) on my way back with a short pause between airports the brought him to me and would not take any money for the delivery now thats family. The family who run this guesthouse are extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing appears to be a problem with them from booking to arrival to departure. Lovely house, pleasant owners/staff, but above all, the location. Next to Gatwick Airport (but very quiet) and very near local railway station with frequent trains to London (45 min. journey). Also, only a couple of minutes' walk from local shops, pubs, restaurants, banks, supermarket, etc. Ideal for Gatwick flights and visiting the capital without paying London hotel prices, esp. if travelling with children.

Owners very helpful & did everything to make us comfortable & welcome during our overnight stay. They also catered for our late arrival & took us to the airport the next morning as well as keeping our car safe onsite for the duration of our holiday. Buffet breakfast was included & we were able to help ourselves to what we wanted..facilities more than adequate.

All the staff were really friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic. We ate there every night of our stay. The decor of the inn was understated and stylish with lots quirky little rooms and low ceilings.
