Super pokoje z widokiem na lotnisko :) - As always, we enjoyed the proximity to Gatwick, the quality of service and the ambience. I would also mark out the honesty and helpfulness of the housekeeping staff, who looked after a gold ring I left behind inadvertently at the hotel at the end of my stay. - The Sofitel London Gatwick was highly recommend

hotel spotless, rooms had more than everything you needed, food delicious and plentiful, staff very helpful, price very cheap for what you got. overall a very nice hotel and highly recommended for staying in very close proximity to Gatwick Airport/Railway - Everything was great.Cole to airport and bus service,even at night.Room spacious and so cosy

Najlepiej skomunikowany hotel z lotniskiem - bezposrednie przejscie tunelem z lotniska do hotelu. Bardzo dobre sniadanie. - Very close to the airport and so convenient - walking distance. I felt safe landing alone very late at night and saved on taxi/mini bus expenses. Breakfast in bed early in the morning on day of departure at no further expense.

There were 10 of us; grandparents, parents and children; going to Lapland for the day. We were made very welcome on arrival, had a lovely meal and, thankfully, got out of bed with our early calls. All dealings with the staff, before and during our stay, were friendly and excellent. Staying at the hotel made getting to the airport much easier

The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed our evening meal in the Restaurant. Flew down from Scotland and stayed at Hotel before leaving Gatwick for Barbados the following morning. Had a very good night's sleep and felt relaxed before travelling. The complementary shuttle service to the airport was much appreciated. Have used the Hotel for this purpose before and will use again in future. Would recommend this Hotel

Staff were very helpful, we had to cancel our table booking in restaurant, staff were very pleasant in the circumstances. Waterfall at entrance very impressive! - Very nice hotel, 2 restaurants, one pub, nice staff, avis rental in the lobby, a little shop where you can buy a few things. Very nice !

the swans and geese outside in the little lake. the beautiful decor and warm friendly, cozy and luxurious feel to the place. also it has a regular bus service right at the entrance that takes you to the airport. great place!! if you're looking for somewhere near gatwick.. you wont get any better than the copthorne.. serriously :) - I stay regularly

The Effingham was beautiful and spacious -- large room overlooking beautiful grounds, like a country estate. The regular-size bus with luggage racks was excellent to transport us from the Gatwick Train Station and back to the Gatwick Airport next morning for only 2.50 pounds per person per trip. The food was beautifully presented and delicious.

Terrific hotel. Very helpful staff and good attitude. Nothing too much trouble. Lovely pool and spa facilities. Separate steam and sauna for men and women. Men don't have to get involved in all the Spa stuff which is good. Best hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Will definitely take partner for a romantic break on a Monday/Tuesday - best price

Even though we hadn't noticed that the clock in the room wasn't put forwards, and so we missed the breakfast times, they still allowed us in to get some breakfast! Many thanks! - Absolutely gorgeous place for a romantic gateway. Beautiful building,good size nice, modern and stylish rooms with a great view. Good andhelpful staff.
