  This hotel was amazing!!! We arrived late in the evening, about 11 pm, and they called for the chef and opened the restaurant just for us, and got two waiters to serve us!   First the location of the hotel is great (city center, major attractions close to hotel). Second the hotel staff is really friendly and helpfull.   The staff at Bulvar Palas are not just good -- they are exceptional. Everyone spoke fluent English, were accommodating beyond belief (we arrived at 6 a.m. hoping just to check our bags while we went sightseeing and they offered to rush making up a room for us so we could get in there at 10 a.m. without being asked). Location is also great, 10 min by taxi from taksim and 4 tram station from hagia sofia and blue tzami.
