  Excellent staff ( Yildirim and Ofuk). The staff was supper nice. The owner, Aziz, was helpful and tried to help ASAP. Very close to Galata Tower and Galata bridge and to the Bosphoros. Walking distance to cruises, bazaar, and historic sites. Metro station Sishane at walking distance.   Great location. Apartments are a few steps away from Galata tower and 5 min walk to Istiklal street. There are many cafes and restaurants right next to Galata tower. A cab ride to sultanahmet took us 10 mins and 20- 25 lira ( taxi meter better than prenegotiated rate). Manager was very nice and accommodative. Rooms were clean and sofa-bed was comf... co mówią ludzie » ortable. Almost all amenities included which made things easy especially with young kids. A small grocery store and money exchange in the back street. - The size of the apartment was of a good size of about 36 sq.m with the sofa bed being able to be folded into bed making our stay with the Kids much conveninent. The location of the apartment is excellent within close proximity to the shopping area of Estiqlal in Taksim and also metro/trump stations. The hospitality of the management was handled with excellent care by Mr. Takin and his team.

  We liked everything! Not a single complaint. Excellent location, very good spa facilities for such not big hotel in the center, design interior, very good breakfast, staff very supportive.   Very helpful and nice stuff. Location - next to the istiglaliyyet street 5min walk. A lot of nice pubs in surrounding. Front view, top floors are really nice deal. Clean - the room was cleaned everyday. We have stayed for 4+2nights. There are a lot of things to see in Istanbul and night life is one of them. Breakfast was good.   Ideal location and excellent value/quality - the situation is good.. near to all historical places and also to the tramvay station.. and away from NOISE that's the most great thing about it. the terrace pool is amazing with a view of the sea and ferryboats crossing all the time,, it's realy nice hotel to stay in. 100% RECOMMENDED

The Breakfast - A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!
