  Located in a perfect area, great terrasse, galatalife is a really good base to visit istanbul, istiklal and taksim at walking distance, and galata tower and area straitght down the street. the staff is escellent, helpful, and friendly. you can also take vapor in karakoy walking all down the street and visit kadikoy and all asian side, or walk to ... co mówią ludzie » eminonu and all touristic area crossing the bridge, about 15-20mn walk. shortly, galata life is a really friendly, cheap hotel, in one of the best are - I stayed for 2 nights in the hotel, and i like its proximity to the Istiklal district. The staff of the hotel are really nice to their guests. And i have to mention Fatih for being nice and friendly. Breakfast was good. The room was quite small but comfortable. Heater was good. I would love to stay again in the same hotel when i come back to Istanbul.

They upgraded me to a suite without me even inquiring. They had cleaning staff come daily to tidy my apartment. (Note: Rooms Galata is located on a steep incline- which I loved for daily excerc - Me and my husband had an absolutely fantastic treat from the time we got to the hotel to the time we took off again. We booked a rather large room so we enjoyed the spacy room.
