  This is a large appartment on the 3rd floor split into various rooms. Larger rooms are mainly equipped with domitory beds while the smaller ones have double beds. The location is excellent, very close to all main sites and the t1 tram line. The rooms are clean. The brekfast is very good. Tea is for free and Mr. Ali (the owner) will make everything... co mówią ludzie » he can to make you feel comfortable at his place. PS: It was NOT difficult to find. Mr. Ali sent me a map prior to arrival. There is a large sign nex - Fun, lively, friendly and welcoming staff. Very comfy beds, yummy breakfast, clean and good showers. Castle Hostel is very near to the Blue Mosque so you can just pop there after dinner to enjoy some salep and the buzz. We felt home and definitely stay there next time we go to Istanbul.

  What makes up for the shortcomings of the hotel is the really friendly, helpful and nice staff. For the price, you really can't complain. Location is excellent as it is VERY close to the Hippodrome so it's easy to take short rests or a nap when u r tired of walking. Was there for 7 nights, and except for the 2 roomates that i had, who talked and smoked all night, there's nothing really i can say - Yakamoz guesthouse is a very special place: the building is not big but furnishings is in perfect turkish style, and the atmosphere is really hospitable. Our room, was very nice, everything was full of coulors and original. In particular, the owner of the guesthouse is a very good person, he's lovely, nice and hearty. The building is very close to the centre of istanbul, so close to blue mosque and santa sofia mosque and grand bazar. I advise this guesthouse to everyone!

  We were really happy about the apartment as we booked last minute. We were a group of 4 people and we wanted to celebrate the birthday of one of us in Istanbul. The apartment had only 1 double bedroom so the other couple had to sleep in the living room.   It is a very good example of a basic quality. Especially the cleanness of the rooms and hotel facilities impressed me. The location is unbelivable and the view is amazing worth everything. On - The dorm rooms and facilities are amazing with private curtains for the beds as well as some of the nicest bathrooms/showers I have ever seen in a hostel. It is centrally located in Sultanahmet or the old town of Istanbul that was formerly Constantinople. It is within walking distance to many of the historical attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern and Topaki Palace.
