Ada hotel is very accommodating and comfortable. Best value ever~ Stayed 6 nights and found it always clean, with really comfy bedding and linens. This is a fantastic hotel if you want to stay in the Sultanahmet area of Istanbul. The hotel is a few minutes walk to all the sights and in a quiet street. The staff are all excellent and very kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and the view on the terrace is great. The rooms are comfortable and the cleaning staff are meticulous! Ask for a room with a water view if you can!

Location - Only a few minutes walk from the blue mosque and another few minutes will take you to Ayasofya and other major attractions. There was a mosque too right next to our room, but only for males.
Market - we arrived on Wednesday and there was a market selling fruit, vegetables, cheeses and much more. A good way to save on food!
They provide a small gas burner and basic cutlery, you might want to bring a small pocket knife.

A classic hotel, which I've used twice before, in 1995 & 2005, before its recent refurbishment. It's now three times the price, but the grandeur is no longer faded, it's now a true 5-star place. And I'm delighted to say that the refurb hasn't spoilt its character at all, as this is a hotel with more character and history than most! Staff were great, we got a room upgrade, and an extra hour extended checkout wasn't a problem. If we return to Istanbul, it'll be the Pera Palas for us!

Everything. Hotel is amazing and brand new. Definitely it is firm 5 star hotel. I don't know what to name first design, comfort, location or quality of service everything is excellent. Staff is very kind and helpful. It was my first time in Istanbul and they completely helped me to orginize my time there. Highly recommend. -
