The hotel staff were very nice when we arrived early. They stored our bags and offered us the use of a room to change clothes. Whilst we were out exploring Istanbul, they took the bags up to the room when it was ready. The location of the hotel is very good, a short 2 minute walk to local restaurants. 5 minutes to the palace and 10 minutes to the Blue Mosque. But being a new hotel the taxi driver had difficulty finding it. I suggest before you go you either ask the hotel to arrange a taxi f.
wszystkie opinie » Great fresh new hotel. 1. The location is great. One of the main ferry stops is in 2 minutes walk (near Galata bridge), tram and train stops are in 1 minute walk from hotel. Sultanahmed, and Topkapi Palace are in a walk distance. 2. Personel is very friendly, polite, good English skills. 3. Breakfast is really good for Istanbul - fresh vegetables, cheese, meat, fresh juice, cakes and even omlette. 4. Room is rather big, fresh English style interior, flat TV, not big but clean and nice bathro. Small but cosy and neat place. Very friendly and helpful staff. Smily welcome and a nice breakfast doggy bag as I left hotel to airport early morning, before breakfast time. Small but clean and nicely furnished rooms. Perfect for one person or a couple spending most time outside, without too many luggage. Nice room design and colors. Very nicely handcrafted soap and other complimentary bathroom cosmetics. Very central location: behind the main train station and Sirkeci tramway station, in Sulta. The Staff - They were friendly and helpful and very useful in giving tips for restaurants, sight seeing etc. The hotel is new and has 2 rooms on each of it's 6 floors. The bathrooms are a little small but it wasn't a problem. The room is comfortable, the WiFi was good and it was great to watch all the goings on in the street. Excellent location for the sea ferry, the metro and station, all just 5 minutes away. Ideal for the Grand Bazaar and many other sites. The location is perfect if you want to stay at the Old City - be aware that the nightlife is quite there, but I do recommend the location, it's 5 minutes walking from top attarctions like Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. As we were unfamiliar with the AC unit we found it difficult to have it cool the room but not blow directly on to the bed. We stayed at the hotel at 8 of March 2012, there was some construction work nearby so at the daytime it is possible to hear some noise from there when windows are open. At evenings work stops so at night it was quiet even with window opened. Closed windows also absorbs all noises effectively. We were told that construction work will be finished in several month. Anyway it was not a problem for us. Not disadvantage, but just remark that rooms are quite tiny and could be not comfortable for "big" people, there are two views - either on roofs or to the street. Seriously, there was nothing to complain about!. Hard to say - maybe the room itself and the bathroom is not big, however, for couple it is more than enough. Room is small but no problem for a short stay. Room was a little small but it was adequate for my needs. the road is noisy during the week. Nothing. - rooms were a bit small and there was no view although "partial seaview" was promised in the booking information (our room was in third floor, maybe there is a better view in upper floors). Nothing to complain about. For some travellers the size of the bathroom and shower cabin might be a bit small but still is OK for the price range. Poor city view from the window. One evening there was no hot water for an hour due to some technical failure. But it was fixed and never happened again. Nothing. Small bathroom,not very high presure in the water. Nothing. a) The bathroom was too small - it had minor facilities issue. I felt a bit cramped in the hotel. staircase, evelvator and rooms are kind of minimized. Getting to the hotel was not so easy; an instruction how to get there could be helpful. Small thing but the power went out once at night and there were no emergency lights anywhere so the whole hotel was pitch black. 8:30 breakfast a little late for early risers.
