The resort is a little diffrent in a good way. It's bacically partly in the jungle (with monkeys) and partly buy the sea. The bungalows and rooms are big and spacious. Nicely decorated.

If you are in Koh Chang to relax and just enjoy nature then this is ideal. If you want party beaches then it's definitely not convenient enough going back and forth at night. The architecture is wonderful, and the surroundings are incredibly peaceful.

Beautiful, cozy place, bungalows are new, big and clean. Personnel is very nice, polite, caring and helpful. We felt like at home there. The beach is gorgeous, very close to bungalows. A place of calm and quiet - very unlike the rest of low cost Thailand. The rooms are fantastic, and the pool area and the close access to beach make for a very relaxing stay. Having hired a scooter from The Stage we have seen the whole island and are so pleased we picked Kai Bae as our base. It's a small 'walking street' filled with restaurants and little shops but minus the neon lights and deep base pumping to the small hours (White Sands of you want that!)
The hotel has a proper shapes pool so you can swim lengths and the cabin rooms are dotted around it. There are about 20 of these detached modern cabins and they are lovely inside. You won't find better for your

Fantastic setting and location for a relaxing break. We came here after several nights in the city of Chiang Mai so it was a welcome change.
The setting amongst the trees is very nicely done, the hammocks, swings and lighting by the beach is a nice touch too.

We stayed in big a family room that was located on top of a hill. The climb up was a bit hard because we had big heavy bags, but the view was breathtaking. The room was clean enough, beds quite comfortable and staff was very helpful. -
