Zurich is expensive, and the price was ok for what was on offer. The location is a short (10- 14 Minute) tram ride from the centre, with a tram stop more or less outside the hotel. Breakfast good but expensive if not included with the package, and a "quick" breakfast on offer. The hotel was quiet. The bar was functional, and barstaff friendly. I would probably stay there again

  I particularly liked the fact that there was a Nespresso coffee machine in my room which made excellent coffee. Being an early riser it was a pleasure to be able to have real coffee first thing in the morning. Also fantastic location. - the hotel is very comfortable in a central location wlth all the facilities needed.

We asked for extra pillows and got them immedia - The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote
