The offer that I had was fairly good value.
Zurich is expensive, and the price was ok for what was on offer.
The location is a short (10- 14 Minute) tram ride from the centre, with a tram stop more or less outside the hotel.
Breakfast good but expensive if not included with the package, and a "quick" breakfast on offer.
The hotel was quiet.
The bar was functional, and barstaff friendly.
I would probably stay there again

I particularly liked the fact that there was a Nespresso coffee machine in my room which made excellent coffee. Being an early riser it was a pleasure to be able to have real coffee first thing in the morning. Also fantastic location. - the hotel is very comfortable in a central location wlth all the facilities needed.

The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, nicely located. Amazing is the sound isolation, the hotel is located in the heart of the city with trams running next to it, still if you close the windows, nothing will disturb you. -

Very close to the city center, museums, restaurants, bars (10 min walk). Excellent service from the first moment of our arrival. Reception staff speak English, Spanish, French and German. Excellent service. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel clean. Breakfast buffet superb. Location may appear to be remote and in an industrial area, but during our stay we did not notice that, using the exceptional public transport links to travel into central Zurich was very easy. The frequent bus 781 from stop Riedbach outside the hotel takes about 6 minutes to Oerlikon Bahbhof. Which is then just 6 minutes to Zurich HB by the many, even more frequent trains. We found this route
