  We arrived early and were allowed to access our rooms. The staff were friendly and more than happy to help us with any queries and meet our needs. The elegance of the hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms was a great touch to an enjoyable stay in Bern.   The staff was very friendly and offered us coffee when we missed breakfast after sleeping in. Breakfast is limited in choice but included in the price and served until 11 at the weekends. Friendly staff and good breakfasts and local restaurants close to hotel. The wrong type of bed configuration was initially provided but this was changed by moving us to another and better room.
