The family receptionists! When we arrived dogged tired at 10pm, we were greeted warmly by the elder of the Stamatakis brothers and shown to our nice, comfortable and warm looking room. We were very surprised by the gesture because this is the first time happening for us since we are in a budget tour. The hotel is modern looking yet retain the feel of the past. The room/apartment was large enough for a family of 5. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast room was lovely with big windows and a bit of a view. Very nice hotel, a short walk from town at the other end of the lake.
The hotel has a modern feel with a comfortable sitting area near the
reception area. A modern lift transported us to our spacious room. The
bathroom is clean and the shower is very modern. The bed and pillows are
exceptionally comfortable. Wide screen T.v with 3 English channels. The
subdued lighting in the room made reading a challenge.

Loved just about everything. The location is amazing. The apartments are beautifully furnished with high-quality fittings. The view from the balcony, of the mountains, was breath-taking! And the sauna/wellness room... that was a real treat. -

Pretty well everything - One of the nicest small hotels we ever visited. Great staff, excellent and cosy restaurant/bar, and spaceous rooms/bathrooms. Vicinity to the railway-station with efficient connections to a whole range of hiking/skiing locations is a big asset. Great value for money, and the best choice to avoid an overpriced St Moritz.

I've been to about sixty countries, staying at numerous hotels, and I for one cannot believe that this is only a three star hotel!?
We stayed in a superior room, which was large, modern and very clean, and the view from the balcony was simply stunning. Staff was also very helpful and professional, everything about our stay was really great! -
