Situated perfectly (7 mins on tram to the Hauptbahnhof (sp?) main station) and within 200 metres of a supermarket. Kitchenette was perfect for cooking breakfast/lunch so as to avoid very expensive meals out too often. Bathroom spotless with very good shower and fantastic, new whirlpool bath which fit two people no problem.

The rooms were reasonably sized. We could keep and open 2 big bags while having enough space to walk. The kitchen was very small but it was fine as we cooked for our kids only. The Astor is a short tram ride (uphill) from the train station - take #7 towards the zoo and get off at the first stop once the tram turns uphill after crossing the river. The unit we had has a small kitchen that was very handy. The beds are comfortable and the rooms on the back side of the hotel are very quiet. There is a free laundry machine! We absolutely loved our stay here.

This is a wonderful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean and filled with light. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water and water pressure. This is a family hotel and they do their utmost to make you comfortable. It was a wonderful place to stay, very clean and quiet and central. I arrived at 9:30 AM from overseas and they allowed me to check into my room right away, which was a big help after a long trip. - Great location.
