The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote

The Apartment was very nicely maintained, very comfortable 03 Tram station (Tram 11 & 14) from the Main Zurich station. Very Nice connectivity and Good Homely environment. -

The hotel is very quaint and is located perfectly near main train station and old city. If you are looking for a conventional hotel and all it's amenities then Helvetia not for you. I like having a "place of my own," where I felt like I was coming home in the evening and not to a hotel. Having a little kitchen, immediately makes you more "local" as you shop for groceries. Nice to get up and make a coffee when you want, instead of waiting for the breakfast to open. -

A very nice, modern and comfortable hotel in the quartel, where ordinary people are living, away from the tourist zones. Some restaurants (italian, chinese...) within the walking distance, also a nice hammam open till 11 p.m. Good public communication, even if you have to walk a little bit, by bus to the main railway station, by tram to the centre and by s-bahn to the airport. Very modern design of the rooms, quiet location (the back building) and the tree forest from the back.

Excellent location; very efficient, warm and friendly staff. We were upgraded, much to our surprise, and our room and bathroom were very large, the bed extremely comfortable.
