  It had lovely ambiance, and history. We liked that in was convenient to Main Street Granna. It was quiet and pleasant and decorated in the period of 1800's. The room was on the small side but not a problem. We chose this hotel for the reasons above and were not disappointed - This is a historic property and we loved the setting.   The receptionist at the hotel was excellent and very helpful with directions and general information.Our room on the third floor was directly underneath the clock tower and very atmospheric.   Friendly staff, good breakfast - Room was clean, looked very nice, but lady at reception was abrupt and needs customer service training. Otherwise basic amenities were as expected and breakfast bar had enough options. So all in all staying there was ok.

  Perfect place to stay at Gränna. We traveled with one 7-year old daughter and she got a doublesize sofa-bed for her only. Very friendly and cosy atmosphere. Excellent food! - almost everything. The location on the lake is wonderful, the hotel ambience terrific. Food was very good..... Overall Great experience.... we wish our stay was longer!
