Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. It is a budget accommodation of course, but it perfectly satisfies your basic needs - rooms are clean and comfortable, showers are decent, well equipped kitchens and nice light breakfast. Poo

I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple.

Residence Perseus was clean, airy, well appointed and absolutely central to the Gamla Stan area of Stockholm, yet away from the tourist frenzy of tours and souvenir shops. This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'. For those who do not like walking though, the Gamla Stan station is only 3' walk from the Old Town Lodge. I would definitely recommend it and if I ever go back I would s

Old-fashioned hotel in a good meaning of such term.Well preserved atmosphere of peaceful old times gone by. The stay was comfortable, especially as I got bigger room than ortiginally booked. Perfect location. And for a "reasonable" price (for Stocholm, where hotel prices are generally astronomical).
