We were celebrating a 60th birthday, so wished to have a hotel near the centre, which was comfortable and if required use of the restaurant.

Being at the coutryside in the center of Stockholm was amazing.
You have to walk to arrive to the Palace? You don't go down a 20 floor hotel and are immediatly surrounded by shops?
Who cares? You are 10 minutes away from all that, if you enjoy walking.
If you like to ride a bike, you have your "private" garage next to the hotel, with 20 bikes ready to be rented; just buy the City Bikes card at the reception.
Breakfast was plentyful and the restaurant serves very tasty dishes.

The reception staff were so efficient and helpful. The room was spotlesseven though it was on the small side. Exactly as seen in the web. The location of the hotel was good, the ABBA Museum is in the same building in the basement. The Vasa Museum and the Nordisk Museum sa well sa Scancen are very close.
You can take the Hop on Hop off bus to see the central Stockholm - the bus stop is not far from the hotel. The breakfast is good, the staff is polite. The hotel is very small.
