A very warm welcome by the owner and her charming assistant.
The home made meal in the evening: rice with fish, vegetables and curry, cooked on wood: delicious! A tastefull breakfast in the morning. If you like the food, it is possible to have cooking lessons by the owner.
The days in this homestay were great and good value for money. The owner organises everything: bikes, food etc and makes the name 'homestay' true. wszystkie opinie »
Nice facilities for this money. The place has it's own small but very attractive garden, where it's nice to spend couple of hours in the evening. The owner is a very polite and helpful woman who is happy to help and speak English almost fluent. Ask you to cook coconut flats for breakfast (instead of bother toasts which are given in all hotels in Sri-lanka) - and you will not regret)).
The hotel was very close to ancient Polonnaruwa.
It is also at walking distance from the bus station.
The hotel is actually the home of the owner who is super friendly and helpful. She made us feel like home. It is a simple but nice place. The owner can also contact someone to take you in a safari to one of the closeby national parks.
The efficiency of the owner - could not do enough. We arrived by train at 0.300 hours, she arranged for a Tuc Tuc to meet us waited up to welcome us with a cup of tea.Next day she arranged for a Tuc Tuc driver to take us to all the sites and sorted a car to take us back to Colombo.She cooked us lunch before we went back to Colombo.
Cozy place. Clean and tidy. The friendly and accommodating hostess.
And the hostess prepares amazingly delicious! Caution: You can eat your own fingers;) highly recommend curry rice.

Very friendly and helpfull owner. She sent a tuk-tuk when we arrived in a bus stop in town. She accompanied us to the nearest bus stop when leaving to Anuradhapura etc etc. Place you can feel at home.
Friendly host with amazing cooking skills, who will also organise bike hires and transport. The location is great, away from the main road and close to the ancient city.
