  This was a fabulous hotel! It is very small (only 12 rooms in all). We were on our honeymoon and out of 5 different hotels we stayed at this was our favorite! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic!   Pension Alameda is family owned. The whole family is very willing to help. Some have limited English. The room is clean. As other have commented it is a bit noisy. But then you are based at the square which is full of life in the weekends. It didn't disturb me, but I imagine it might be a but noisier in the high season. Good value for money.   This was a wonderful place to stay beginning with our gracious and accommodating host Arturo. It did not feel like a business exchange but rather that you were staying with friends. All the comforts of home inside a well designed and efficiently laid out space provided a nice respite from a long journey.
