My wife and I stayed only one evening in this wonderful hotel. It is a beautifully remodeled former bodega. It has original exposed beam ceilings and tile floors. Walking the Camino we wanted a bit more comfort than what was on offer in Los Arcos. We found it! Lovely, old, beautifully re-furbished, Latorrien d'Ane is just off the beaten track in Mues, a small, very well-kept village with an imposing church. This was like finding a rare jewel in a barren rock. It was an amazing restoration of a derelict village fortified house in wonderful countryside and it was friendly comfortable, peaceful and interesting.

Very helpful staff in all departments - nothing was too much trouble. Personal attention from everyone and excellent advice on local places of interest. Well presented room - good restaurant - quiet village location. - The helpfulness of management was excellent. Nothing was a problem and information given to assist our stay in the area was great.

We were given an upgraded room which was lovely - it was a quiet period.Basically a commercial hotel but looking for tourist business. Veryquiet little town - near calahorra which is a larger town. Neitherthough has any restaurants - just some cafeterias in calahorra. Thehotel does have a restaurant but it doesn't open until 2100hrs - alittle late!

Friendly and efficient staff, delicious breakfast and nice dinner. The hotel certainly has the "wow" factor! It appears to be an annex to the imposing Royal Palace of Olite, which is well worth a visit (as well as the historic town itself). We stayed in the new tract and had a lovely big room with a little balcony overlooking a vineyard across the road. Definitely recommended!

Everything, Etxalar is excellent.
The 3 star rating is misleading should be higher.
This wonderful Hotels price includes a breakfast which would cost at least 8 euros a person in France and yet it is only 20/30 mins from the French Border.
A car is essential, however due to the rural location which is fantastic.

The hotel is modern and clean with views over the countryside. It is located near to the motorway which did create some noise at night but we shut the double glazed bedroom window and opened the bathroom window on the other side of our room and it was fine. The twin single beds in the room were comfortable but not exactly what we had asked for.

The rooms are really very clean, modern, and spacious. The bathroom too
is very spacious and modern for European standards.
The restaurant serves a bottle of red wine; a bottle of sodat; mineral water bread, starters (the size of a main course); main course (choice from 5); desert; coffee, all for 10 euros. The best value for money in the 21 years that we've been travelling through Europe.
