The historical hotel buildings themselves are beautiful. Perhaps though the most striking asset the hotel has is its staff. They were all excellent; always helpful, friendly and attentive. It's difficult to give them sufficient praise. Well done Hotel Sa Bassa, we'll certainly be visiting again.

  Hotel has very friendly staff willing to help with all sorts of questions. In the evenings there were very nice animations in the hotel. Hotel has its own swimming pool (part for kids and separate for adults) and apart from that is very close to the sea.   We had a short stay at the Amapola and could not have wished for anything more. The location was beautiful with the lake to the rear and the beach 5 minutes away. The staff were all so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent with a great choice and always fresh. Rooms clean and comfortable.   I was extremely pleased with the Apartamentos Ran de Mar. I paid a low price and di not expect much for my money. However, I was suprised at the accommodation. It is clean and had the necessities for a self catering break. It is not luxury but that is reflected in the price. The hotel is on the Paguera boulevard and has lots of shops near. It even has an internal corridor to get straight to the beach. We took the half pension based on a comment on this website and it was the best decision. The food was good and you always have at least 3 options of meat, salads, etc. It's also near beautiful Cala Fornells which I recommend to visit. Time of the year: end of June 2013.
