  We just returned from staying 3 nights at this hotel. We were impressed by how well it lived up to its reputation. The kids' favorite part was the pool and the mini-zoo, my favorite part was the good-quality beds, and my husband liked the restaurant. One special touch was that each apartment had its own drying rack, so we could hang our bathing suits and towels out to dry. The hotel i - We stayed for 10 nights, the hotel is on the edge of town , but everywhere is within easy reach. The Patron and his team were all very friendly and eager to please, we felt very welcome and looked well looked after. A Guarda has the feel of old Spain, lots of friendly polite people, fresh local food and produce, and you feel welcome where ever you go. We stayed during the fiesta's and WOW the amount of people was amazing, but such a friendly atmosphere !

  The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull, especially Candy. The location is amazing. We booked a room with sea view which is definitely worth the money. Lovely breakfast buffee and even in the evening they prepared whatever we fancied.   This was our first trip to Yigo after many trips to other areas of Spain. We only spent 1 night here which could have been more. The staff and owners are very attentive and helpful. They recommended a restaurant down the way for eating fish and seafood which was very local and had the best seafood ever! The shower in our room was very nice and had easy access. The bed w - Everything. This hotel is wonderfull. The location is perfect, at the apex of the waterfront, the grand avenues and the old city. A beautiful old building completely refurbished, and rooms were well appointed. The owners are very professional and very personable, and attentive to small details. I recomended this hotel to anyone. A 4 star hotel at 3 star prices.
