The following were the strong points: Excellent staff, food and drink, value for money, the design of the grounds of Miraflor suites were exceptional and the peacocks were an added bonus for entertainment. What a gem this place is! From the minute we arrived, we felt as though we were the only people who mattered. Dany and Joaquim who manage the reception made us very welcome. The best accomodation (for leisure) I've ever had. Location: excellent if you're interested in relax and peaceful atmosphere, close to unique Papagayo beaches (15 min. walk) and ordinary Coloradamar beach for those lazy ones (2-3 min. walk) :). Two supermarkets are nearby (Roper: 2-3 min.walk, HyperDino:5-7 min.walk). Bus stop is right in front of reception. If you travel with children, the playground is 2 min.walk. La Cubana is just great. The staff is simply awesome being very helpful and providing much needed information without even asking. La Cubana has a Cuban feeling and is located at the center of Santa Cruz. Very close to the ferry terminal too. Certainly recommended
