The staff were excellent, on every level. Very child friendly with kids club, indoor pool was a life send in the bad weather. Apartment was a great size for our family of 5. I can't say enough about the staff, they were so efficient. The entertainment at night for kids and adults was great. We're going back again! Food was great too... -

Just got back and everything about this place is as good as earlier reviews say it is. I was tempted not to add comments so I could keep this gem to myself. The staff are excellent: professional and competent whilst also friendly and good humoured. The Hotel Illa d'Or has a magnificent setting, with wonderful views both of sea and mountains; and located in a quiet spot towards the end of the Pine Walk, which makes a lovely short promenade to the centre. I will confidently give this hotel a 10/10 rating. Spacious rooms, extensively equipped with everything, starting from several air-conditioning systems, 2x TVs, an oven and a dishwasher, an iPhone docking station to paper towels and dish-washing soap. The staff were amazing. We had the use of a luggage room and bathroom whilst waiting for our apartment and when leaving. They were polite, informative and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous location. we will definitely recommend it to others, already have and will return again.

Upmarket hotel with nice grounds in a dull touristy not very smart resort. One of the only hotels we saw with lots of space around the pool. Choice of pillows. Made a good base for exploring the beautiful island of Mallorca -

All the staff has been amazingly pleasant and making you feel welcome. The hotel is very well equipped and modern, as are the rooms. The food at breakfast and dinner is delicious with a large choice in a buffet style. Overall fantastic place!

Without question, this hotel deserves only praise. Fantastic facilities, friendly staff, welcoming to families and not too big. Excellent location in less crowded part of the long beach strip and fantastic value for money, especially as it offers apartments rather than a hotel room. The area around Port Alcudia is also very interesting to explor

I have travelled a great deal for business and leisure over the last 20 years and Hotel Sa Bassa stands out as one of the best places I have stayed for relaxation, comfort and good service. The historical hotel buildings themselves are beautiful. Perhaps though the most striking asset the hotel has is its staff. They were all excellent; always helpful, friendly and attentive. It's difficult to give them sufficient praise. Well done Hotel Sa Bassa, we'll certainly be visiting again.

Cannot fault this amazing place in any way! We go every year & have done for the past 4 years, it really gets into your system! The staff are lovely, the animation team are outstanding, the food & drink are lively & facilities cannot be faulted, love it!
