My husband and I liked everything about the hostal alcoba, from the welcome we received to the décor, little touches such as fresh flowers, slippers and bathrobes in our room. The breakfast was very good with quality items, great choice and freshness. We would stay again and recommended it to everyone that appreciate the care and quality of the hostal alcoba has in abundance. Well done Manuel and family

1. Great great location-I can't emphasise this more- right next to cathedral n all the impt buses- airport bus stops right in front and straight bus to train station as well. Great food places nearby and can walk everywhere!

We arrived thinking we had booked a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apt. The apts have only 1 bath, so we inquired about getting another apt. Ivonna made a few calls and the manager allowed us to rent another 2 bedroom and reduce the rate on the booked apt (they charge per person in most Spainish properties) so that for 2 apartments (2bed/1bath) the total came to 20 euros less for our stay!!!!

The location is amazing. Looking out over the sea, and Burriana Beach, from all the pretty little terraces that descend from the breakfast patio is just gorgeous. A great accommodation for our party of 3 couples.

Location is great to visit beaches and enjoy views of natural park. San Jose is in less than 5 min by car, so no problem to find a place to grab some tapas or diner. Liked also the possibility to get some tapas right in the hotel, what is very convenient after a day of sunbathing and visiting. The hotel itself is really cozy, our room was clean and personnel was very helpful. Really enjoyed peace and quiet of this place. Great value for money - we will definitely come back for longer stay.

Spacious apartment (no8) in the middle of Santa Cruz area, walking distance from all the major attractions. Christine made us welcome and provided us with a guide and map to her favourite tapas bars and restaurants. The roof terrace is a great place to relax on a warm evening.
The apartment has a comfortable sitting/dining area with balcony windows on two sides. The kitchen is fully equiped including a washing machine, radiant hob and microwave.

The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was a wonderful start to each day with every kind of fresh fruit you could wish for and beautiful views of Nerja. The rooms were clean, comfortable and secure and the overall atmosphere was quite and relaxing. We have a lovely time and would definitely stay there again.
