Location, perfect! Didn't have any problems with noises from other rooms, like other travellers said.
The location was excellent. Effectively located within a street mall. Street wear stores and high end brands within 200 meters. The staff are really friendly and the rooms were clean and functional.
I little fridge to keep drinks cool would be nice but not necessary if you're on the streets all day.

Location and Staff.. very accomodating staff. They helped me with all my queries and requests. The hotel was smacked in the middle of the hotspot!

Slow elevator, a little bit hard to find
Location superb - pedestrianised shopping strip right outside your door. Very safe area. Extremely helpful staff-thanks Mary and George for a great and comfortable stay. Rooms are bright, decently sized and everything works unlike some 4 star hotels I've stayed at. Fast Wi fi connection. Would definitely stay here again.
New, clean, chic room. Location is perfect. Good value for the money. Very helpful and friendly guy and also speaks English. Free wi-fi. I had everything I need.
Elevator sound is annoying especially while sleeping. Walls has no sound proof, very thin. First 2 nights I couldn't sleep because of the next door. Don't take room 11 at fifth floor.
The location is in the heart of Madrid and is great for enjoying the night life. The internet service is good and the staff's attitude is friendly.
The rooms are comparatively small but are enough for short stay. The rooms on the top floor have disturbing elevator sound. I recommend to take the rooms on the 4th floor only.
The night manager, Jorge, is great... very smart, attentive guy.

Very cozy and clean hotel decorated in style. Perfect location. We got more than we expected from the hotel. Very friendly staff who speaks English, which is a great advantage for tourists in Madrid.
Nice friendly hostal, right in the center, about 5-10 walking minutes from Plaza Mayor. Good for shopping in this area and several Tapas bar's around.
We stayed as a group of four friends and it was perfect. Great location, great value and accomodation surpassed our expectations. It is what it is; a budget hostel, but a very good one.

Wifi in room and location
Staff is good, speak english and tell everything you want to know about Madrid. Rooms are very clean with new repair and new ferniture. Location is very good, 7 minutes of walking to the Puerta of Sol. Around Hostal are many cafes an restaurants.
Very small room. Almost nowhere to put things while the owner can hang on the walls (there is a place) shelves and hooks for towels and clothes.

The locations is perfect, well connected, restaurants, shops and more are around just walking distance! The staff is very nice and hospitable. Definitely I'm going to stay here again in the future when I get back to Madrid!
