The bed was of really good quality, and the linen was also. Great to get into a comfy bed after the day in such a a great city. This place is amazing. Our room was very clean and functional. It is close to the downtown. Also extremely convenient that La Isla Hostal is a couple of blocks from Estacio Nord (bus station) and Estacio de França (railway station). Friendly and helpful stuff. In my opinion, it is an ideal choice for budget-minded travelers.

The staff members went beyond the call of duty on more than one occasion to accommodate us and make our stay as pleasant as possible. Facilities are basic however for the money you would be hard pushed to find somewhere as good as this place. Also taking the location into consideration, I don't believe more facilities would benefit the hostal much

The Hostal is run by extreamly polite Indian gents and is in a perfect location for a city visit (only yards from the Ramblas). I saw reviews criticizing the wi-fi but I had a strong connection all holiday. We stayed in a double en-suite room and although basic, it was immaculatly clean, with beds made up each day and clean towels every 2 days. The bed was extreamly comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water in the shower. Great place to stay if you want a cheap holiday. ps. felt ver

1) Wonderful staff - Alex was great but George was amazing - both really helpful and kind. Anything in their porwer will be done for your convenince stay.
2) Hostel description states that there are no hairdriers, but there actually is. Also, if you need George would bring you an iron. - something other places would normally charge for.

A really small business with only about 8 rooms. Really friendly staff, very welcoming and explained everything when we got there. The room was very clean, modern and comfortable. The room had double glazed doors so there was hardly any street noise and the building itself is gorgeous! It's walking distance to La Sagrada Familia and just about walking distance to Las Ramblas and then onto the beach. It's also very close to Tetuan metro stop. Hotel Fornos biggest advantage is the l-o-c-a-t-i-o-N. Situtated 10
M. from the Rambla and 10 M. from the clasy and cool Plaza Real I
wouldn't swith Fornos for another hotel. The interior of the room
is a bit old, looks like from the 80's or so but who cares as
long as you are in the middle of the action. The receptionists are

It was amazing, great view, awesome room (two balconies at a room of three beds), a nice and warm welcoming, situated in a very good location, very accessible from all points of view. We loved it, we recommend it and we are looking forward to return.

That place so close to Casa Batillo, my room was so small, but
comfortable and clean. Service was super polite, speak many languages, I
can speak with them english, spanish and even russian. Big thanks to a
girl in reception Katya. Super polite, super kind, told me where to go,
what to visit at that time and really is so so nice person. I can
imagine who is the boss of hotel if they have such a wonderful staff!
