We stayed in the 4 person apartment and all of the beds were very comfortable. The private bathroom was awesome because it has two sections. One with a sink and toilet and one with a sink and shower. This was a really great hostel: really affordable price, central
location (5 minute walk from Plaça de Espanya), huge lockers, spacious
dorm rooms, showers with shelves to put clothes on, free tea and coffee,
3 modern laptops with Internet access, quiet, on the first floor of the
apartment complex, not too far from the Estació de Sants.

I really like the location. My room has a balcony and I can see the
street at night. There is a small bar right downstair so it's very
easy for a late cocktail (the magarita is really really good, but not
the mojito). It's close to Espanya, and you can just walk 1 blog to

Very friendly staff, don't forget: it's a hoStel, not a hotel. Not that comfy, but clean, situated next o the subway, close to the city, with clean sheets and a bed. Breakfast is for free, which is awesome for people that are travellin on a budget and just need to get some toast into their tummy:) I liked the fact that its a a former flat, feels like u really live there!

Amazing atmosphere, the staff were exceptional and really made me feel at home. Rooms and facilities were clean and new. Free dinner was a fabulous and great way to meet people. Location couldn't be better. Definitely I will come back! -

Everything! The theme of the hostal was really cool. The workers were very helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was very calming and fun. Beautiful set up and the rooms were very nice with the bathrooms in the rooms. -

the stuff was extremely (!) friendly, helpful, smiley, so big <3! They reacted to my problem -previous to my stay - with the booking pretty fast! Everything was clean and tidy. The Polish lady on reception when I checked in was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and sufficiently spacious for a single. The fan provided made up for the slightly stuffy atmosphere. Great outside communal terrace.

There was a lot of information in the hostel for trips and tours, very useful. The staff were very friendly and there was a lot of space to chill out and relax with vending machines for snacks and drinks.

We stayed in one of the double rooms which is in a separate building a few minutes walk fron the main hostel it was great actually closer to La Rambla than the main building. it was a quiet building and had a lift. Free wifi in the rooms was good and there were a lot of activities offered. We did the gaudi walkong tour and it was excelent. The double rooms weren't super cheap so in terms of value for money perhaps you could find somewhere on La Rambla but it was very close maybe 5 min walk

Staff, facilities, location.
I took the train from Madrid to Barcelona and stayed here. Its close enough to walk from the station (I only had a backpack though), checked in and got my keys, and the rest was cake. Cool lockers you can lock with your key card, free internet downstairs, and the breakfast was also pretty cheap and pretty good.

Staff are helpful and very friendly, specially the amazing (Ricardo), the guy at the front-desk.
Security arrangements and comfortable beds.
The very central location of Urbany made it very easy to reach for the top landmarks and sightseeing.
Very easy to reach from the BCN airport; A1 bus from the airport till Place De Catalunya, then a 3 minutes walk through the Gran Via street to the hostel.
The place is more of a youth hostel and suitable for budget travelers.
