  This is a great place to stay as it's in the centre of Madrid. Great for shopping, museums, eating and close to the gay area. There is a McDonalds right under the hotel and a Starbucks across the road, the windows in the hotel were extremely well insulated, you cannot hear the traffic (or hookers below) once the windows are closed. The (sunshine) rooms are tiny (I knew that when I booked) just enough - The decor is Pottery Barn/Restoration Hardware and has a very comfortable and hip feel. Our room was on the second floor and had double doors that opened to a false balcony that overlooked the busy street. We had two comfortable leather chairs and a coffee table. The beds were also large and comfy. White beadboard covered the walls and there were pegs to hang things.   The location of the hotel - I was travelling with a suitcase and the hotel is literally just around the corner from a metro stop. The staff were very helpful - very centrally located for main attractions. - Amazing location, friendly staff who provided any assistance required regarding directions etc. Basic but comfortable room.

  Staff at front desk was very kind and helpful. Rooms were excellent, for an 'hostal'. Location is great and very easy to reach. We didn't take breakfast; plenty of places around. - We were highly impressed at the cleanliness. All staff were professional and friendly.
