Very nice, modern hotel. The room was very spacious. Toilet was big: there's separate toilet and a nice shower. Next to it is a little cloakroom. All these partitioned next to the bedroom. It was a pleasant surprise to stay at an art showcase hotel: what an inspiration. When we arrived they were displaying beautiful photographs from an artist, on the following week they displayed paintings from a renowned andalusian painter. The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). This hotel was a great value for the money. It was clean, refurbished, friendly staff, centrally located, gay-friendly, etc. Particularly liked the free Internet and computer in the room itself. The overall standard is fully equal to 3*** or even a bit above. - Standard of room and reception area were excellent - appeared to be brand new (April 2008). Staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The hotel is 10 minutes walk to Playa de Major. 5 minutes walk from Puerto de Toledo Metro. Within short walking distance of Palace and Cathedral. Would definitely recommend this hotel in centre of Madrid.

The hotel was excellent, clean and a very good price. Staff was very friendly and spoke good English. Hotel is in the centre of Madrid so when you go behind the corner, you are immediately in the shopping streets. We highly recommend this hotel and will visit again when we'd go back to Madrid! A+ -

The staff where very helpful and pleasant and the room was very quiet. We loved the kitchenette which was ideal if we chose to cook & eat in. The location on Gran Via was excellent i.e. close to shops, tourist attractions and Metro which was easy to & from airport. I enjoyed every day in this hotel & would use this hotel on another visit to Madrid. Highly recommended.

The Hotel was bright and vibrant and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The room itself was a good size and was comfortable with plenty of storage space. The Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Breakfast was not quite a full English but good by European standards. Location was super for direct transfers from the airport on the C1 train (2.50€) then less than 5 minutes walk. Location also excellent for Old City and you can catch a train direct to Atocha station (1.60€),
