  1. LOCATION is excellent, very close to Metro station (Gran Via) & many city landmarks (Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, can be reached by walk). Room is completed with good wifi con - Great location near Gran Via metro station on the nice shopping street. Elevator to 4th floor. Rooms have windows for inner court, so it's quiet to sleep. You will have own keys for the building and for your room, so it's safe. The single room with shower is really nice and cosy, with air condition, sink, good mirrow, a kettle to boil water for tea etc. Also the bed was comfortable. It was my second time I stayed here and I was perfectly happy with everything.

  First of all, the location of the hostel is great, being located in the heart of Madrid, a few minutes away from Gran Via and all the cultural places. Also it is really easy to arrive from the airport. Next, the staff was young, professional, very friendly and with good communication skills (they spoke English - The location of Hostal Gala is excellent, a 5 minute walk from Gran Via and Puerto Del Sol. The staff are super welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and advise on where to go and what to do. The hostal is also kept very clean and the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful as well. Although the rooms do not have safe deposit boxes, security and leaving passports/money behind was never a cause for concern. This is a place I would recommend and stay at again!
