  Lovely place, great interior, nice bed and spacious room and bathroom. We booked only a few days before arrival and where pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Staff was super friendly and we payed only E 50 a night for a really good room. The hotel is situated perfectly, nearby the Mercado and some good restaurants.   The location is great! In the middle of the old center, in walking distance to many restaurants, tapas bars, sights, shopping street, etc. The price-quality ratio of the hotel is very good. Our room was about 46 euro per night, for a small room with double bed, hot shower, small balcony; no breakfast though. Warm atmosphere, good information available at reception. - The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget. Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

You can hire bikes directly from the hotel at a discount.

  The very chic and elegant room design made me feel like I was staying at a five-star hotel. The great staff service added to this impression. The location and price could not have been better- just a quick walk to awesome sites and restaurants, not to mention the train station. Staying at the Palacete certainly added to my wonderful experience ... co mówią ludzie » in Valencia! - Id stayed here quite some month ago and the hotel was full of teething problems as only been open a few days. I then stayed again but was to soon to review it. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the decor is of a very high standard and all staff are more than helpfull. The location is excellent and when ever i visit Valencia in future i would try and stay here.

  The hotel is off the center so it is easy to access from the motorways by car. Despite that it is not located in the city center, it has a very good connection by public transport (1 line 3 stops but keep an eye on the timetable, especially at late evenings). The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. Parking is free on the streets... co mówią ludzie » nearby but the hotel guests have an access to the underground parking right beside the building, which costs only 9 EUR. - The breakfast was awesome: crepes, a variety of breads, cheeses, meats, pastries, yogurts, juices and coffee. Also, when I discovered at 10 pm that the thermostat control in my room was broken, the staff changed me to a room across the hall a few minutes later. Overall service was very good. The women who worked there were very nice and helpful in every way!
