  The Alma Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Barcelona for the fist time. Because the location of the hotel is great, it is near two main streets Rambla and the shopping street Gracia. The breakfast was tasty and it is nice t - I have back and neck problems so a good quality mattress and pillow is always a problem when I travel... But not at this hotel! Those were Perfect! No backpain, no headache! Loved the backyard! very quiet and peaceful. The location was terrific. Three minutes to Casa Mila, city tour bus stop, 20 minutes walk to Sagrada Familia to name but a few.   Loved that the staff were willing to assist in any way they could. We had a lovely girl who recommended other restaurants to try in Barcelona, which were just fab. The beds and pillows were soooo comfy. Often in hotels you will get pillows that are so hard that you end up sleeping without. Rooms are cleaned twice a day and the food in the lounge is of the highest quality and amazing taste!! That was my best valentine’s weekend!

  Quality of room and excellant views - A wonderful luxurious hotel situated on a hill just outside barcelona. The view was breathtaking and so were the rooms. Although we booked the least expensive category we got a fantastic room: spacious, extra extra large bed (v.comfy), big windows, enourmous bathroom with lots of nice toaletries.
