The hostel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood that gives you a great feel of life in the city. The metro is barely 5mins walk and connects you straight to the city in 15mins.

It's a great, nice and cozy, place :) The owners are open and
friendly and they keep the place clean. We had a great time watching
the celebration of the lights at Horta streets, from the roof-top
terrace. We also liked the fact that the hostel was peacefull and quiet
althought it was fully booked. A big plus is the well equiped kitchen
and good acces to wi-fi. The hostel is close to metro station and there
are few shops nearby - but it may be hard to buy something during
siesta or on Sunday.

There are ample beds - 7 in total in 4 rooms.
The apartment is within short walking distance to Marina and Monumental metro station. Even we managed to walk to Placa de Catalunya where we catch the Aerobus to the airport.
Facilities are complete and working perfectly, with adequate towels provided daily.

The staff Was supernice we could leave our luggage there, I could print train and bus tickets for free. Two of our friends came a bit later however it Was no problem they could do the checking one day later. Fresh towels everyday and the infobook in the appartment is very useful too!!

I liked everything about this hotel. The apartment is fully furnished, with top of the line items, everything was very comfortable.

Location of appartment house Eric Vökel is very good both for public transport (Metro Rocafort 100m away) and for finding a taxi late at night, plenty of restaurants and shopping in the former bullfight arena 5min away. Lucho is very friendly and welcomin person, but he also gave us space and waited for us to come to speak to him rather than the other way around. Hostel was clean and situation perfect, not in a bad area at all. You can watch the police men walk under your balcony in a quite busy street :) I will definitely stay here also the next time I´m in Barcelona!
