  Located in a part of El Born with many tourist. However it was not that noisy in the night living on the second floor. Small cosy hotel in boutigue style with a restaurant - that we didn't attend - and a smaller breakfast room. No further facilities. Small but nice and clean room. Rate (105 Euro) was good for the location - close to everything. Love the free bottles of cold water on each floor. Didn't try the restaurant -- it looked very nice, but also a little spendy.   My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. I really recommend this place with english speaking, helpful staff, elevator for heavy luggage. - Great central location. We stayed for a cold 5 days in February but the room air conditioning served very well as a heater as you were able to programme to whatever temperature you required. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably
