from the centre of la Rambla, minutes away from the metro, cathederal,
market, numerous museums. The beach and harbour were just a stroll
away. Do try the Bengal Spicey indian restaurant in the next street up

passeig de Joan de borbo (as you head to the beach from barceloneta
metro station)

The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. The apartment was in a fantastic location and was very well appointed. It was very roomy for five people and the staff was helpful. My only small complaint is the street noise which was present throughout the night and could not be blocked. Of course this is the price you pay for such a convenient location on a big city, but if you are a light sleeper it could be a problem. Otherwise a fantastic choice.

Friendly and helpful staff provided recommendations of local sites. Large bright apartment with a views of the Pedrera was ideal. The unit was clean and freshly updated with the option of maid service for just €16 per day. The apartment provides over twice the space of a standard hotel and is equipped with comfortable beds. Located by the Rodeo Drive of Barcelona, there is great access to high end shops and the metro station is right around the corner. All in all a great stay.
