I ist just an amazing place :) You live in a side street (so it's pretty calm compared to the general noise in Valencia) and you are close to everytning.
All what we needed was in walking distance. They rent also bicycles (we got 10% discount). We cycled to the beach and to the Albufera reserve (It was really worth the effort). And if you need so

Owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was good to have access to a kitchen facility.

The hostel is very basic but practical and ideal for those on a budget.
Centrally located, it is an ideal base when exploring the city and the
surrounding areas. I opted for my own bathroom which was well worth the
additional 4 euros per day. I'm often concerned about security in
Hostels but this was diminished in El Cid completely - I felt
comfortable leaving my belongings in my room when out and about.

Newly decorated rooms with sufficient space and particularly comfortable shower. Friendly and helpful staff (willing to leave us some breakfast, ready for us to have prior to the actual opening of the breakfast, as we had to leave before that time). Location is perfect, hardly 5 minutes walking to Plaza de la Reina.

We booked for 3 nights but upon arrival we realised what was listed as a
Twin/Diuble Room with shared bathroom was in fact a double bunk.
There was nothing in the room apart from the bunk bed.
What made it worse was that I specifically asked under 'comments' whilst making the booking for a double bed, and if this is not available to please let me

This is a brandnew hostel in the center of Valencia. Great staff, very clean and good design.
Price is very good and i also saw some of the double bedrooms and theyre incl a very nice bathroom. The shared bathrooms are even with bubble jacuzzi bath!! Kitchen very clean and well equiped and lovely roof terrace. Staff speaks english and are always willibg to help.

Think if the hotel as an up scale Refugio like you would find on one of the Spanish hiking trails: small, shared rest room, dark. That said, the location us wonderful, good comfortable bed and working fan in room six. Nice towels and sheets. Super swift WiFe.

Low Cost Valencia is much more than the expectations I had when I booked it. Overall it transmits the feeling of your own home. It is a clean cosy place where you can relax and do a lot of activities. I defenetly got the most advantage out of my stay thanks to this place and the wonderfull people from there. Am going back for sure this Summer.

I loved the welcoming atmosphere and the excellent service that was
provided to us / the staff immediately showed is maps and activities
and the kitchen Is big and well equipped the living room is amazing and
we stayed 3 nights instead of one because we were so comfortable here :)
we couldn't of asked for anything more from a hostel and I wish I
was still staying there !!!

greatest advantage. Also, my room was more than decent - relatively
spacious, clean, with a nice bathroom and balcony...Plus, Jero, the
hostel owner, is a great guy, kind and helpful although he (like most of
other Spaniards) doesn't speak English.
