  My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Colon hotel and would recomend this hotel as an excellent central location to explore Barcelona. You are right in the centre but yet in a very quiet peacful location just off La Rambla ideal for all restaurants, the bus tours etc which are a must for anybody visiting the city. We upgraded to a superior room and it had a huge bed with enough space and also a balcony / patio, we also got spa access included for upgrading. The staff were very helpful and you can help yourself to coffees and pastries in the afternoon free of charge which is a nice little extra. We will definitely be visiting this hotel again as it was great.

  Very quiet room. Great value for money. Good design. A small suite with separate bedroom for 100$ per day! Easy access to metro line 4 (Bogatell) or Line 1 (Marina). Not far from the beaches. Mar Bella is only two stops (Poblenou) and a 10 minute walk. Direct by metro to old Barcelona in only a few stops (Jaume I).
