We previously stayed at Casa Matilda for one night and liked Leo and Elena's hospitaliy so much that we returned for a three day stay this October (2013) with two of our friends. The house is gorgeous. Our room was more like a suite with a huge bathroom, living room with minifridge and large bedroom. The breakfast room is on the top floor with terraces that give you wonderful views of the medieval city of Corca. But as wonderful as the physical space is - Leo and Elena make you really feel .
wszystkie opinie » Leo and Alana were amazing hosts. We arrived on a holiday when local restaurants were closed. So, we purchased a home meal prepared by Alana and served by Leo in their living room / breakfast room. Leo cheerfully carried all of our luggage up the steps. The room was a really a spacious suite and we had access to the roof garden, the previously mentioned living room, and the lobby. Leo and Alana made us feel like guests in their home. And, since our GPS died on the way to Casa Matilda, we . The owners were so helpful It was only 7 minutes away from Galas' castle Dalis' wife easy drive to see Dalis museum in Figueres, Beautiful Village lovely restaurants within walking distance everyone we met in Village were friendly. The rooms in the B&B were amazing and Leo the owner did his best to check we were happy the views from the roof terrace were fantastic and we will defiantly be going back I highly recommend it. This was a great experience for us. We loved the location and Leo and Alina were absolutely delightful. Coming from the U.S. it gave us a more up close and personal experience with the people and the area. Leo even arranged for a restaurant to open so we could have dinner with family in the area. We liked everything! From the music softly playing in the background to the wonderful homemade muffins for breakfast. Excellent place to stay. We were cycling and it's a nice relaxing retreat at the end of day. Tha atmospher, Lea, Alinda, Matilda and not to forget Pomelo makes our stay unforgatible. Nothing is too much, friendly formmthe heart. Thanks guys. Cute ancient rooms, friendly staff and dog (Pomelo) in house. Very piecefull feeling, a man forgets the rush there. Friendly atmosphere and attitude to the guests. Dog and Matilda. There are a lot of steps. Not a problem for us and Leo handles all the bags, but people with mobility problems should be aware of it. Finding it was a bit difficult, but part of this may have been that our GPS died on the way. The parking is on street parking, but Leo arranged for us to park a little closer since his neighbor was away. Not much places to eat nearby but there's one place 3 minutes by foot with quite good cuisine.
