The friendly and helpful manner of the staff, the very relaxed and homely environment, the music being played. There was plenty of food for breakfast and the free coffee machine was a real boon.
Our room didn't have a view but that really didn't spoil our stay.

What can I say about a hostel with a concierge? It had all the things you look for in a hostel (the getting to know people, the price...) but at the same time, you have all sorts of amenities at your disposal. Loved it.
A TV in the private room would have been great.
First, the girls at the reception are really friendly and ready to give you all the information you would want. Also, you may buy tickets from them for any important place in the city, so you don't have to wait in the queue. Bonus: the very good breakfast.
The staff was so friendly. Lots of nice activitys like an incredible flamenco show for free.

Every thing was so nice. the design of each floor and the common areas where perfect, the amazing kitchen although we didn't cook for ourselves. each night you have a special kind of dinner or a show in the hostel, and they invite you to free walking tours. Traveling information was really helpful.
tiny minor things that probably won't prevent us to come again: mattress is too soft but i guess it's like this all over Spain.

Great hostel! Lovely and very helpful staff. There's a really good vibe because of all the young travelers and night activities which were made the hostel such as flamenco dancer and small bands. We had great time!
The room was clean enough but could be cleaner. Adult people must understand that it's a hostel full of youngsters and probably won't be good for them even though its extremely nice and highly ranked.
It's the best hostel I've ever seen. In fact, we can say it's a cheap hotel for young people. It was all perfect!

we spent 4 nights at the hostel. on the second day someone brought us a new towel and after that till the last day no one has changed for new one i was surprised how often they changed

Wonderful stay in casagracia hostel, well organised and very clean. I loved the common area where while cooking you meet lots of nice people and organize different activities to socialize. Staff was great, thanks for making my stay in Barcelona so nice :-)
Great! The room was clean and so was the rest of the flat .The location is awesome since it is close to the city centre so you can venture in the touristy things you have planned for Barcelona but its neighbourhood is also full of pretty plaças and bars where lots of locals hang out.

I know it is a hostel - but in the rooms there is no chair - only the beds. Selection in breakfast is poor - but maybe it is like this in a hostel. Parkingplace was 50 euro for 18 hours. I know it is not the hostel parking.
The overall atmosphere was eclectic and very awesome. The facilities were very clean!

The staff was amazing- early check in was possible since we had not slept due to poor travel the night before, the concierge welcomes you with a glass of champaign and info about the city, and there is always Spanish food (home made) in the kitchen. Rooms are great, especially for the price and there are free concerts throughout the week. Wow.

casa gracia was absolutely amazing!!! It is located close to diagonal metro station and within walking distance to all the great sites and restaurants. The breakfast was great and didn't end super early like many of the other hostels I've been to. Also, the staff was very experienced and helpful and added tremendously to the environment of the hostel. They have wifi available and the common area was the perfect place to relax a bit and meet other travelers. I will undoubtedly return to next time!
I stayed in this hotel for one night only, but I did enjoy my stay here, as it was nice, cosy and clean. Unfortunately, I was unable to stay for breakfast, but I hear it is good, which is a rare occurance in the hostels, so thumbs up :) Towels are free!
The bathroom is within the dorm, so it can be a little uncomfortable at night.

Very secure and safe - lockers and keycards to enter your room. Close to diagonal metro station. There were several toilet and shower cubicles so never had to wait. I liked the included breakfast and the common areas- kitchen/ livingroom. very nice hostal!

Sometimes the level of the noise from hotel's repair works was unacceptable. I think it would be better if they close the hotel for this period.

The glass separator between the bedroom and bathroom was quite see through.
The Hostal is in perfect location, close to Gracia, the best barrio in the city- young, lively and with lots of cool bars and shops. Also the staff was very helpful and informative, and the atmosphere is young and homey, with a large common area, terrace to seat and eat in the sun and a well equipped kitchen.
