  We stayed here for two nights before going on a self drive safari to Kruger National Park. The owners were very friendly and we had a good and relaxing time at the lodge. If we had any questions, the owners were more than happy to advise. The room was very clean and modern. The breakfast was sufficient with a choice of e - We stayed here for 2 nights. Yvonne and Gerard are great hosts, and a bit quirky. Gerard can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about South African car licence plates. The lodge itself is very cozy, with a bush decor. It's very clean, and housekeeping was in our room twice a day, including in the evening to put a chocolate on our pillow before bedtime. Breakfast was also great.   The staff was very friendly and really did their best to make us feel welcome. This lodge is really good value for money and if you take the option with breakfast and dinner it is lovely not having to cook.   I arrived at 11.15pm and left before 8.00am the next morning, but for a very brief stay the accomodation was ideal. Thank you - The bedroom was very clean, nice and well furnished. The staff is welcoming, and give you lot of advices. Thank's Megan !

  Fantastic place! We stayed 4 nights here & loved every minute of it. The staff are really friendly & helpful, the breakfast is delicious & dinner was fantastic every evening. A lovely relaxed atmosphere & great location. Craig is a fully licensed Kruger NP-guide, Alison stands for the high quality rooms and food of Tingala and together they run this unique place with great hospitality. During my sta - We often use Phalaborwa as a stop-over en-route to the Kruger Park. This last stay at Tingala was by far the best and next time will probably just stay at Tingala and do day trips into the park. This is a special lodge with special people running it. Craig and Alison were the perfect hosts and the lodge itself was absolutely perfect in all respects - but primarily, the solace of the African Bush, the sounds, the smells, the animals (all over a glass of red and a night time braai from the stoop)
