The house was very nice, separated entrance, kitchen, nice shower room. I felt very much cozy to be there. It was really pity, we stayed only one night, wished to stay longer ! Surely, next time to plan differently , making day trips to visiting from there . The breakfast was very nice too. Morag baked Muffin, was sooo good ! I told them , I didn't ride on the ostrich in Oudtshoorn, leaving from the house, Gordon gave me as ostrich key holder as souvenir. I attached it with my bag. Thank You !.
wszystkie opinie » Best vegetarian breakfast we received during our three-week trip. Amazing! (cheese muffins, avocado, ...). Very warm welcome. Very well designed room with all facilities including fridge and microwave. Big bathroom. Perfect Internet connection. Very friendly people who knew their province well and have sent us on a nice route towards the Drakensberg mountains. Pity we stayed over only for one night because this B&B is very, very recommended for both business and leisure travellers. Everything - Morag and Gordan are the most fantastic, hospitable and accomodating people that you could ever hope to find. They made sure that I had everything that I could possible need and more - it was better than staying with family, indeed they made you feel like family.Talk about "going the extra mile" - they did that and more. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Lovely lovely lovely place!The room was very comfortable!! The staff (owners) is friendly and very helpful..we had a problem with the map and Moran, very kind, came to pick up us in the middle of the town!! The day after they gave us a lot of suggestions about things and places to visit around Pietermaritzburg. Gordon and Morag are so very friendly and hospitable.The rooms were spotlessly clean, and they even provided us with a very nice camp-cot for our 8 month old. Breakfast was lovely, wish we had more time to explore the botanical gardens that are right behind the b+b. A great stay. We will def go again. I was made to feel very welcome. My room was well equipped, with a large desk and kitchenette and was tastefully furnished. The free wifi had a good signal. Breakfast was good. Overall, a place of peace, comfort and care all at a good price. Would recommend to business or leisure traveller. Gordon and Morag (the owners) are very nice people, eager to share all good tips they have. This was great experience for us. The breakfast was amazing. Difficulty finding place. no sign from main road. A bit too close to town and the busy roads. Hard to find. Could not fault one thing,. Not the fault of venue but 'Maritzburg might be best just as a watering hole passing through to somewhere more interesting. Nothing, except that it was a fair way out of Pietermaritzburg. This was not a major problem, for our contacts were on that side of town. steep drive and misleading maps for location. Liked everything. Nothing.

From Johannesburg: - Take the Chatterton Road/City exit. - Keep right, passing over the motorway. - You will be on Chatterton Road. - Go straight over the roundabout and follow the directions below. From Durban: - Take the Sanctuary/Armitage Road exit. - Keep left and go straight over one set of traffic lights. - Turn left at the roundabout into Chatterton Road and follow the directions below. From Chatterton Road: - Go straight over the first traffic lights. - Turn right at the next traffic lights into Victoria Road. - Follow Victoria Road (which becomes Winston Road) until you get to a T-junction with traffic lights. - Turn right into Mayors Walk and go straight over one set of traffic lights at the National Botanical Gardens. - Take the 2nd road to the left, Stott Road. - Bellevue is the 2nd road to the right off Stott Road.
