The positive thing is transport is just near meaning local taxis without a hassle in just few seconds. The friendly staff of Albany hotel always available to assist with a smile. The other thing is it's secure because the security is always around 24/7 and all this services @ an affordable price. Will definitely book @ Albany again. Keep up the good work!!

  Although its in the city, you don't get to hear to city noise and the views from the hotel are very nice - From arrival to departure, we were made to feel that we were guests and not just people to fill rooms. We would stay there again when next we visit Durban.

  Room exceptionally clean,staff very warm and helpful.Breakfast server with a smile by Your friendly chefs and staff. l would have rated excellent on facilities,but telephone was not working and had to go downstairs to order room service which was a nightmare. The hotel was ideal for a family as the fridge, kettle with beverages and sink plus microwave was a bonus as it made it possible to save on costs by not having to eat out and enjoy meals in the hotel, appreciating the views in the dining area. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me and i really got value

  I stayed at the Tropicana in December 2010 and was not impressed at all. During my last stay I notced a remarkable improvement, i.e refurbishment, staff, etc. Well done! - The fact that it is on the beach front and our bus just dropped us at the door, that was awesome. Value for money as well.

  The gate men, the receptionists and women staffers (more so from the restaurant, the JAM) were super. The displayed professionalism at all times and were extremely friendly. Lovely people who were helpful at all times.
