It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.

This was an excellent hotel. It was situated just outside the Waterfront and although you could walk there, they had a courtesy bus that ran every half hour. The staff were friendly,courteous and efficient without being intrusive. They went beyond the call of duty to assist. The hotel itself is what a 5 star hotel is all about, and I have stayed in five star hotels throughout the world,some of which don't match up to this.Would definitely stay there again.
