  I loved the slipper bath and felt it added a real sense of luxury to the bathroom. I spent a good 30 mins in it, unwinding and reading my book. I liked the privacy of the apartment and that staff did not hover but were there when you needed them. - Very central, within walking distance of the main street, restaurants and attractions.   We really enjoyed our stay at Basse Provence. It is a beautiful house nestled amongst the vineyards and with a great view of the mountains. We felt very welcome there and the accomodation was clean and comfortable and well maintained. The staff were all very friendly and accomodating and made sure we felt at home. The location is beautiful, surrounded by the winelands and the mountains and the accommodation itself was wonderful. Our room was spacious and under the thatched roof and the staff were very helpful. This was our favourite place to stay whilst we were in South Africa and we would thoroughly recommend it!
