Everything. Fantastic hotel, extremely efficient and courteous staff and great customer service, something very rare in this part of the world. Spacious and clean Family room that was cleaned every day without even asking. Great location, would have been even better if the direct access to the haram was open but even the side entrance did not add too much time to the walk to the haram. The reservation staff called us to reconfirm our booking & they did the same before we checked out - much appreciated for that. On their system they had a higher rate for the rooms we've booked (higher rate compared to the rate we booked online), however they managed to correct it at the same we checked in. Easy access from/to Haram, unlike other hotels. Easy access to the food court as well. Efficient and smooth check-in. Very good service in general. Agreed to change our buffet breakfast to a room service late dinner and suhoor. Easy Access to Haram. Truly a 5-star. Would stay again and highly recommended. This is far better than two other hotels I stayed in before at Al Safwa Towers. Apparently the hotel can provide competitive rates for limo to the airport. 1. The staff were very friendly and acomodating to all requests. 2. The design and location of the hotel was just about right - couldn't have asked for anything better. Was very close to the 'Haram Mosque' and with 3 levels of shopping area and 1 level of Restaurants in the same building made us look no where else. Staff were very cooperative , hotel was clean and very close proximity to Haram. We arrived at 06.00am and were allowed to check in although normal check in was at 16.00pm. The breakfast was fantastic with so much to choose from. (hotel is in Safwa tower, which is the building next to Zamzam). Highly recommended (one of the best hotels in Makkah). Cooperative and friendly staff. The polite Saudi receptionists are well trained and Show great hospitality. The break fast buffet was very Delcious and varied. My two Rooms were clean and smell nicely. I don't mind staying again in this hotel next time insha Allah. The hotel is very near to haram Mecca. It is convenience to shop and eating area. The prying hall on site at level m to the family with young children, disable person to pry and it head straight to haram. The foods is good and cater for asian, western and arab. Hotel is close to the Haram and has friendly staff. I wouldn't expect this hotel to offer 5 star facilities as in other countries (i.e. swimming pool). At the end of the day we have one aim their is to worship and spend most of the time in Haram. I liked almost everything in the hotel. The location, the internal Mosque which is so convenient when Al-Haram is overcrowded or when you are late for the prayer. The food was great whether the buffet breakfast or other room service menu items. I enjoyed stay here ... Mostly all what I needs here in Mecca I got it easly ...location is very good ,staff very helpful and the hotel set up ...nice n clean. (SR.200 for 24Hhrs). The hotel is difficult to find because luck of the sign posting. The hotel at level 2 and the one way road is difficult for first time t reveller. I wouldn't rate this hotel as a 5 star. as a fair point we are not expecting to have 5 star facilities as compared to other countries but the least you would expect is "fresh and authentic" ingredients served in breakfast and lunch/dinner. Unfortunately that wasn't the case and hence will have to lower this hotel rating to maximum 4 stars only. WIFI available in rooms but very slow and doesn't work most of the time. The housekeeping staff. They need more training and supervision, because they were not consistent in performing their work. Sometimes, I had to tell them what to do. Nothing. We requested non smoking room but it seems that they have a problem with that no separate floors for non smoking and we suffered from the smell. The food at the main Resturant need to be improved to meet 5 star stander. One bath in a big family room is really not enough. The internet is too slow. The hotel doesn't offer airport shuttle services. the loud speakers for our room for azan/salah was not working. Just they need to add more channels like news but it's fine Although reception area so clean but sometimes bad smells arises Menu rates a bit higher. It is very difficult to identify the hotel out side building (Safwa Tower) witout name plate. The noise from the next room. Nothing.. Parking charges 200 sr per day. No signboard for Hotel so difficult to find for 1st timers. There was no suite for big families with two bed room, I have reserved extra large bed and they provided us with 2 twin beds. Smallish room size for a triple room. Room lights are too little so by night it is too dim. The family room is not the best alternative to two rooms with connecting doors, it is very low vaue for money. The hotel name is not well known and there are no single signe directing guests to the hotel. Hidden costs like parking. I had booked two rooms and did not have a single parking spot. if i am staying at a five star hotel i expect parking included. We got a room with no view. Appears that when booking online that gives special rates, they give you rooms like this. In addition, this hotel is the last one in the Abraj and not what the site claimed as being right in front of King Abdulaziz gate. Room information on booking web site differs than what I saw. Room is narrow . The nearest entrance to Alharam is closed?. The housekeeping of the bathroom was not done well upon my arrival but when raised as a concern, staff responded positively and quickly. Nothing. wireless was a bit shaky, for 5 star hotel this is not nice, they should get a better wireless solution. Need some more variety for breakfast, didn't have toiletries but they brought them when i called housekeeping. House Keeping. They are not regular. Everytime we have to Call them to make the room. Very costly parking (1Hr.= 15 Riyals) 200 S.R. per day, but you can park your car at Kudai general Parking and take a taxi if staying > a day.
