  We've spent about 8 weeks in St. Petersburg over the past 5 years as students, and our dorms were located in old Soviet apartment blocks; so this hotel was a welcomed change for our short visit back to Peter!! The hotel was very clean, which surprised me as most of St. Petersburg is on the dirtier side. I thought that aspect of the visit was excel... co mówią ludzie » lent. It also appeared that the rooms had been recently refurbished, with laminate wood flooring, an updated bathroom, and nice furnishings and wardro - A very correct hotel, with extremely large bar/ dining room complex and a pub open late. Excellent food in that pub (which is a rare thing to find in that town). Excellent coffee, and plenty of space to comfortably read a paper. Location is excellent - not right at the center with all its tourist traps but a little kickback at calm Vasilevsky Island. A very good place on the whole although on the expensive side.

  The restaurant and bar area was among the best we have ever experienced. the food served had an extremely high level. the room was very nice, clean and comfy. the atmosphere is relaxed and very importantly, very quite. last but not least, the staff were very helpful. this hotel is up there among the best hotels we have stayed in aorund the world a... co mówią ludzie » nd we´ll definitely be back. - Response staff - When we reported AC problems someone arrived right away, checked the settings, and we received a call offering to relocate us to a room with working AC. Also used the concierge services and it worked well.

  Traditional hotel from old times but well modernized and maintained. Fairly comparable with western business hotels. Good location next to underground station. We were given a junior suite by price of standard twin due to booking situation and arrival at 19:30 so can't review normal room but suite was excellent. Reception staff was really helpful ... co mówią ludzie » and friendly despite of bit old-fashioned sign-in and payment processes. As a coincidence we met the lady who had made our sign-in one hour later at u - Perfect location. Minimum time spent for registration to hotel. Unexpectedly tasty breakfast with lot of options.

  The design of rooms and the concept around the Hotel. It had everything I needed. Staff were helpful and personable and straightforward. It was comfortable without being overly expensive so really good value for money. - Red Stars Hotel was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and the staff was very friendly. Great value.
